A few words from our lead MMMWriters coordinator, Sherry Briscoe:
After a wonderful couple of years, MMM Writers—where we gathered to connect more deeply, grow our craft, and build confidence—is coming to a close.
We are truly grateful to everyone who supported us, attended events, and helped create such a vibrant, encouraging community. As the saying goes, all good things evolve—and this is simply our next chapter.
We encourage you to continue your writing journey by exploring other groups—or even starting one of your own. We’d love to stay connected. This isn’t an ending—it’s a turning of the page. A new beginning awaits.
Where to land now?
We encourage you to sign up for the Idaho Writers Update newsletter and check out the list of regional writer’s associations on the IWU website, which includes:
- Coeur du Bois – Boise chapter of Romance Writers of America
- Eastern Idaho Writers League
- Fish Trap – Northeast Oregon “writing and the West”
- Idaho Creative Authors Network (ICAN) – only on Facebook
- Idaho Writers Guild (IWG) is starting back up
- Inland Northwest Writers Guild – Spokane
- League of Utah Writers – including northern Utah and online chapters
- Sandpoint Writers on the Lake – northern Idaho
- Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators – Utah and Southern Idaho chapter

What about the book fairs?
Still happening 🙂

Sherry will work with IWG on organizing the Fall Book Fair (this year at Hillcrest Library on 17 October).
We’re all still here. Reach out. Stay in touch.
