If you missed January’s Zoom teaser on anthropology and archeology, and how they can enliven and inform your storytelling, you missed a treat. Attendees were effusive in their feedback.
And our February Second Tuesday lunchtime meet-up promises to be even better. More time. More opportunity for Q&A.
Open to all writers of any genre — because we all want to write exciting stories 🙂
Join us: 11 February, beginning at 11:30 at
Smoky Mountain Pizza, 415 E Parkcenter Blvd., Boise

What’s the agenda?
Interested in or have any questions, or curiosity, about forensic archeology and anthropology? We’re delighted to feature Samuel Smith (who writes as Joe Idaho, and who is one of our MMMWriters guide/coordinators). Here’s the plan:
I want to provide some insights into how anthropologists approach crime scene investigations and the types of cases I’ve worked on and answer any questions the group might have.
A bit about Samuel Smith

Samuel Smith is an author, anthropologist, and former archaeologist who worked for the BLM, Forest Service, and private firms. He later taught at-risk high school students before becoming a full-time parent.
During the pandemic, he began self-publishing books about Idaho under the pen name Joe Idaho. Samuel is collaborating with his daughter on a children’s book titled Animal Tricksters For Kids.
